Bhoomi Tripathi
Mrs. Bhoomi Tripathi, the Artistic Director and Founder of Ananta Dance Academy, brings over 18 years of specialized training in Bollywood dance, along with more than 15 years of expertise in classical and folk Indian dance forms, including Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, and Rajasthani folk dances. Her journey as a dancer began at the young age of 3.5, blossoming into a lifelong passion that drives her commitment to preserving and sharing the beauty of Indian dance traditions with students from all walks of life.

Dance is more than just steps and routines for me; it has taught me discipline, perseverance, and the importance of self-discovery. Now, my passion extends to share the transformative power of dance with others, spreading the joy and invaluable lessons it has imparted to me.

Juhi Mehta
Hello my name is Juhi and I have been dancing since I was about 5 years old and my journey thus far has been very special for me. As a child I was awestruck by music and choreographies in Bollywood films and try to blend those elements with my choreographies even today. My favorite part about ADA is the amazing community of staff and students who are incredibly supportive and encouraging. Dance has given me happiness, confidence and a community which I hope to keep on growing!

Diya Nijhawan
Diya has gone under 15 years of training in 6 various dance forms ranging from ballet to Bollywood. She joined Ananta Dance Academy in 2019 as a Bollywood student and performer. Dance for Diya is her form of demonstrating her culture and experiences and staying connected to her roots while being born and brought up in Edmonton. She loves to show her students how to build their own passion and experiences for dance and it's power as an art form, hoping to inspire the next generation of dancers to stay connected to their own roots.

Hi I’m Arzoo! I teach bhangra classes for kids and adults. I have been training in bhangra, Giddha and Bollywood for 13 years and have participated in folk dance competitions as well. I love dancing and the studio is my happy place. I honestly have so much fun teaching my class and enjoy meeting new students!

Param Joshi
Hi! My name is Param Joshi and I hail from the lands of Nairobi, Kenya, although my roots and my passion for garba scream I am your typical desi munda. Dance has been a core aspect of my life as I have been dancing since I was 3 years old and have only been self trained. As a dancer, I love performing Bollywood numbers and have a liking for Afro and Hip hop, but I am always ready to try new styles. Love being part of the ADA team and hope to create many more dancers.

Neha Sethumadhavan
Ms. Neha Sethumadhavan, a skilled Bharatnatyam instructor with nearly 11 years of training under renowned gurus like Kalamandalam Anita Babu and Dr. Padma Shri Saroja Vaidyanathan. Specializing in both the Kalamandalam and Vazhavoor styles, she has also learned repertoires from disciples of Padma Vibhushan Yamini Krishnamurthy and Rukmini Vijayak., Neha has been teaching at Ananta Dance Academy since 2021 while balancing her career as an IT professional.

I have been dancing since I was 6 years old and am proud to have completed my Bharatanatyam Arangetram. Currently, I am a Kinesiology student at the University of Alberta and study human kinetics. Being a teacher at Ananta Dance Academy allows me to share my love for dance with others!

Jesal Bhatt
Hi! I'm Jesal, Kathak instructor at ADA! I’ve been learning Kathak since I was 13, and it has taught me discipline, grace, and the joy of storytelling through movement, and now I’m thrilled to share that joy with all of you.
I have 12+ years of learning experience.
I completed my 7 years of visharad in Kathak in 2015 and later, continued to learn, teach and assist my guru with programs, performances and more.

Ira Kalgutkar, a passionate dancer with a background in Bharatanatyam, Indo-classical, Hip-hop, and the dramatic spins of Bollywood. Dance has always been my creative outlet and sanctuary.
